Project goals

The aim of the project is to develop a flexible generic model of dual education (at least one specific model by the educational institution participating in the project) that will ensure that the educational process in higher education institutions is completed with professional practice in the suitable companies. This way, students are expected to acquire competencies in accordance with the needs of potential employers and ensure better mobility in the labour market towards desired employment. The project is realized through cooperation with partners in Europe who have significant experience in the implementation of dual education. Through this cooperation, the identification of real needs of companies should be facilitated, preconditions for testing a concrete model in a real environment will be provided and proposals for harmonization of relevant regulations in the Republic of Serbia will be prepared in order to create conditions for the implementation of new solutions in the field of higher education.

The role of VISER on the project

VISER carries activities with regards to the work package in WP4 (Pilot Testing of the flexible and generic, DHEM) which relates to the testing of a flexible generic model of dual education in higher education. Each higher education institution that participates in the project, VISER as well, has the following tasks:

  • Develop at least one specific model of Dual higher education and present it to at least 10 companies;
  • Conclude a contract for the implementation of the pilot project with at least with one company;
  • In cooperation with the company, make a detailed plan for the implementation of the pilot project for Dual higher education (this also implies a trilateral contract between a student, company and VISER);
  • Creation of educational literature and training materials;
  • Procurement and installation of equipment;
  • Making an analysis of the results achieved on the project.
