School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies has an organizational structure and a management system that ensures the achievement of the tasks and goals of the higher education institution. The school has a managing body, an executive body, professional bodies and the Student Parliament.
The School managing body is the Council. The council has a total of 17 members. Of these, 11 members of the Council are representatives of the School, three members of the Council are representatives of students and three members of the Council are representatives of founders, appointed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The President of the Council will be elected from among the members of the Council - the representatives of the School. The Council works in sessions and makes decisions by a majority of the total number of members of the Council.
The school executive body is the director. The director is elected from among the teachers who are employed in the school for full-time job, and are elected for an indefinite period. The school director is elected for three years period, with the possibility of a re-election. The school Director is responsible for the business, the legality of work and the realization of the school’s programs of studies. Scope of work and authority of the school director is defined by the law, the Statute and other general acts of the school.
The highest professional authority of the school is the Teaching and professional council. The competences of the Teaching and professional council are defined by the law, the Statute and other general acts of the School. The Teaching and professional council adopts its decisions by a majority of the votes of the total number of members of the Teaching and professional council who attend the meeting, except when the Statute of the School stipulates otherwise.
The Student Parliament is a body of the school established for the purpose of realizing rights and protecting the interests of students, whose activity is defined by the law, the Statute and other general acts of the school. The Student Parliament has 21 members, whose mandate last two years. Members of the Student Parliament are elected every second year in April, by secret and direct voting.
