Requirements: Research methods, the approval of the topic of the research
Goal: Research of practical problems in the field of computer engineering, publishing and application of research results.
Outcome: Students are trained for publishing, applying, and producing research results, independently or in a project team, in the field of computer engineering.
Contents of the course
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Applied research work is done in a company dealing with computer engineering, with which the higher education institution has a contract, and after the agreement of the mentor.
  2. The realization of the applied research work can start when the student passes the exam Research methods and after the approval of the topic of the research.
  3. Upon completion of the project, the student, with the consent of the mentor, presents the results of the project in the form of a seminar paper.
  4. The seminar paper, after possible corrections, becomes Master thesis.
